Running clubs in Kent

back to menu

There are numerous well-established running clubs throughout Kent providing those who take their running seriously an opportunity to join like-minded people for training session and race competitions.

Folkestone Running Club

Being part of a club is a great way of motivating yourself and improving performance, clubs usually meet twice a week, often for programmed sessions, and there can be op- portunities for other organised runs. It's also a great way to make friends and get involved in social activities.

Clubs come in various shapes and sizes - some focus exclusively on road and trail running while others have junior sections and take part in a range of track and field events. Competitions and racing are most important in some clubs while the social dimension can be a big part of others. One successful, friendly Kent club is Folkestone Running Club.
