Running Groups in Kent
For those of you who want to run but not in a competitive way, joining a running group can be an enjoyable route to improving your fitness and having fun. Many running groups are based at specialist running shops or local leisure centres. Run In England organise lots of running groups across the country and use simple walk/jog/run programmes to encourage everyone to get out and be fit and active.

| Sessions Offered | Steady runs (distance will vary dependent on ability but anywhere between 3-6miles). Weekend runs (steady runs at a distance of 5miles+). Beginner runs (walk/run sessions, building through a programme to increase stamina). Sometimes hill sessions, fartlek sessions, speed work and track sessions. All sessions can be adapted to the ability levels of the members; no one is ever left to run alone. |

Sarah Hinton, leader of Run in England Canterbury said: "All of our members go on to achieve personal targets and goals. Whether it's a 5K fun run or a marathon we all start as individuals that think we can't do it, but with a bit of training and a lot of laughs along the way we get there in the end!"
